JOB HUNTING


Been in desperate need of jobs la. Yea, Kay too. So we decided to drop by town right after school.
First up..

Heeren!

Wanted to work in HMV la, what else.. haha. But after walking around in circles inside there, i decided that i won't want to work there already. Know why? Coz i saw alot of malay people working there.. Not that I'm against Malays or anything.. It's just that, they look so mat & minah type. I don't like.

So, we exited there and walked about aimlessly in town till we stumbled upon something.. AHA! A SIGN THAT SAYS:



"Looking for full/part timers.
If interested, call Barista at 6*** ****.
and then the rest of it i kinda forgot."


but.. ALAS! Finally got hope!!

It was the new Starbucks outlet at the SingTel building btw.. At first, I was just saying randomly that maybe, just maybe, they(pointing towards Starbucks*) were hiring. Then Kay was like "u wanna try and see ar?". I just said "eh, maybe have leh, u go see closer". So we when to take a closer look at the little sign on the entrance of the outlet.. and.. Voila! hahas.. Was so pai seh la.. Kay was like "eh hurry up take the no. la.. the people inside there all looking at us like what like that.." hmm. Maybe because they're wondering why are there two hunks outside their place? haha. So ya, i took the no. and skidded away from there. Decided not to call on that day coz of don't know what stupid reason i forgot.


After that.. We went to more places before finally deciding to go to PS to find Lax and meet up with Fang Yong.

At X-zone in Douby Ghaut MRT station there, we witnessed Lax assaulting one of the machines. It was one of those drum machines la actually. He's so damn good lor.. Like... WAAA. Cannot even see his sticks man! So cool..

Anyway.. Coincidently, the arcade was also hiring staff. haha. When we went to the counter to check out the sign they've put up, i was so amused by the bottom last line..



"If you want to work on public holidays only, go and look for other jobs."

hahas. The whole thing was written in such an ah-beng english lor. Benglish. lols.
We thought.. NAHs, don't wanna work there.. So we left and went to PS arcade. Kay's idea. Habitual arcade-er (noun; a person who enjoys going to arcades and finishing off their money, not forgetting making the arcade owners filthy billionaires).

Hung around there for quite some time before making our way to LJS to wait for our dear beloved Hong Kong friend. When he finally arrived, he was carrying this plastic bag containing Jolyn's b'day present. She's so damn lucky lo! Fang Yong PRACTICALLY ate dinner at home instead of going out with us like usual! wa.. he's so kind.. that idiot. hahas.

So Jolyn.. if you're reading this..

FANG YONG IS SO DAMN GOOD TO YOU. SO U BETTER TREAT HIM WELL ALSO hor.


Anyway..

We left PS and decided to go home. But, seeing that it was still early, around 8 plus like that, we made our minds to drop by Cathay Cineplex.

After reaching at the traffic light junction near there, we saw another Starbucks at Cathay. Me and Kay looked and each other and said " Wanna try?". hahas. Ok lo. So we went there, and to our surprise, we saw the same sign that we saw earlier (not the arcade one la. duh) .
So.. Obviously pleased with what our eyes gazed upon, we called.

No answer.

Know why?

Coz office hour over already what.

lol.

We went inside Cathay to kai kai abit coz our dear Fang Yong saw an Adidas store when we were standing somewhere outside the place.
Funny thing was.. when we were inside that Adidas outlet, we were still trying our luck. SO.. being the kind man that Fang Yong is, he asked one of the staff there whether there are any vacancies or not la.

No luck.

Never mind..


Anyway.. the climax of the day was when we saw this girl singing live at Ben & Jerry's..
She was like... waaaa... made my heart melt when she was smiling and looking at us, no no no.. me(abit shameless here), all the way when we were walking past that place. OMG.


Girl, i don't know you,
but somehow i want to be with you..
All it took was that smile of thy..
To win my heart a million times..


Damn. This is stupid. Got this feeling over me that i can't get rid off.
What can i say? I'm charmed la basically.. ~~~

So..

whoever it was who sang live at B&J's at 9+ on 21st of July..

WOULD YOU MIND GIVING ME YOUR NUMBER TO THIS TOTAL STRANGER WHO'S COMPLETELY MESMERIZED BY YOU?


I can't sleep well until i do.

Well.. I know that there's only like a 1% chance of me knowing her and 99.9% that she might be attached or anything even if i do get her no. .. but.. BUT! 1% is still a glimmer of hope. It's enough for me.


If knowing her is a sin, then God please be merciful on me.
Because i have no intention of letting her slip away from my heart
without even trying.



OK OK. Time to get out of emo land already. lol.

Well.. it's getting late.. I'd better go off now.. still got microecons to deal with.. Gah!
