I'M NOT DEAD YET.

This blog entry is just to prove that my lowly existance, no matter how small and pathetically insignificant it may be, is still present in this world.

In this entry itself, I shall include two entries, one of them being a tad outdated and mouldy, but still important.

So here I go with THAT outdated entry which everyone's been bugging about.

FRESHMEN ORIENTATION 07/08.

The FOW/C this year certainly had its fair share of twists and turns, some of which really mdae a significant impact on myself and well, it changed me so to speak.

Although I can't really recall very well the events that took place from the 9th to the 14th of April, I still can remember the efforts the GLs made to improve themselves, not to mention the sacrifices they made, just for the freshmen, or "freshies" as I would like to call them. I am really very proud of everyone one of them. Even now, as I'm typing out this long due entry, I still feel that I've not said enough "thank you"s to each and every one of them.

It has been a rollercoster ride for me being the Head GL of our empire, Scythia. The rollercoaster ride I'm talking about was really enjoyable. I'm serious. Though almost every time I ended up puking all over the floor, so to speak. The experience was filled with valueable lessons which really turned me onto a better person. I'm seriously honoured to have been given the opportunity. Thank you Fazly and Yuting. With your guidance, I've grown to look at things at a different points of view, not to mention, looking at the bigger picture. Honestly I struggled through the first days of FOW, not having grasp the role of a HGL yet. But as the days past, I grew more comfortable doing things I was supposed to do, and not to be some raving lunatic of a HGL who practically wanted to do anything and everything by himself. A lesson learnt: I learnt to trust my GLs. Without these dedicated bunch of hyper-active, loud and caring individuals, no no no, group of people, I really didn't know how to manage a cohort of a 150 freshies all by myself. I can't. Therefor I'm really thankful to all of them who made it for all the 6 days, be it rain or shine.

Now moving on to talk about the freshies!
I must say, the bunch of Scythian whom we took for FOW was quite different for the ones we had for FOC. However, after FO ended, we could really see that these people actually make it a point to know each other. Now, whenever Yuting or Fazly or whoever asks me, "Eh, he/she from FOC or FOW ar?", I'd just shrug and say, "I don't know. They all look the same to me, so can't really differentiate." Haha. See la. Next time you guys must start pasting masking tapes with labels that indicate where you were from (FOW or FOC).
Can look quite fashionable leh.. Haha.

Anyway, the Scythian freshies or Year 1s are having outings like almost EVERYDAY. I don't know what to call this also. But, be sure that I have enjoyed every single outing whcih I attended with these people. They're so cute and funny at times. Kinda reminds me of Centis times.. SPEAKING OF WHICH! I've yet to organise one for them. I'm so tied down right now. But be sure that it would be sometime after 25th May. Or maybe sooner? I don't know. Haha.

Ok, now for a quick update on my life, before I proceed to practice some foosball. Seriously, I suck. I know some of you want to slap me already. But sorry, I'm somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to certain things. Ha!

The first week of school was great, simply because we had no tutorials for most subjects! Haha. And its great to see a lively lounge EVERYDAY. Seriously, I can't remember the last time when it was so crowded. Yay! However, I really do apologise to those people who visited the lounge, only to be accompanied by boredom because of the lack of amenities or games we have here. Be sure that the area near the back of the lounge would be cleared soon. Soon.

Oh ya! Service Skills Methodology, or SSM for short, was great! For most part that is, excluding the early morning scoldings which totally reminded me of my NPCC days. Sucks. But the teachers there are seriously funny! I'm kind of looking forward to tomorow's lesson. Haha.

Oh oh oh! There's also another thing which I'm really really looking forward to! I'm looking forward to Saturday's Scythia outing! S.O.N.G..... SONG! Haha. We're one big family!!
Kudos to all those who had put in effort into keeping this empire together! *Loud applause*

I guess, that's it for this entry. Take care all of you!
Hope you guys enjoy this semester!

cheers.
